All in the Family
In 1914, Luciano Ferreri set sail on the Berlin; with his father, mother,
brothers, and sister; from Lercara Friddi, Sicily for Ellis Island, New
York. Many years later after settling in Buffalo, New York, Luciano met
and fell in love with Josephine Ciello at a church dance. Luciano and
Josephine would soon marry and start a family of three sons: Salvatore,
Nick and Tom.
Kris Ferreri, son of Salvatore, named his restaurant in honor of his
grandfather. He was a strong man who instilled values and traditions in
his family. One of these traditions was food. “As far back as I
can remember, food was a huge part of everything we did—from dinner
at my grandparents to Thanksgiving,” said Kris Ferreri, 25, owner
and chef of Luciano’s Pizza and Wings.
A Taste of Buffalo
In Buffalo, pizza and wings are a culture. Buffalo is a pizza town with
more than 350 pizzerias in and around the city. Food is a way of life—and
something enjoyed by each and every Buffalonian. Whether it’s a
family dinner, a sporting event, a night out on the town or a quick snack—pizza
and wings are a staple. With its unique recipe and fresh flavors—the
taste is unmatched anywhere else.
Until today…
Kris Ferreri, a Buffalo native, has finally brought to Denver the taste
of Buffalo! Try buffalo wings with tantalizing flavors that taste like
they do where they originated. Eat pizza that combines a unique blend
of spices, toppings and crust with a taste that is second to none. But
don’t just take our word for it—come in and try a slice--and
a wing--and taste what you’ve been missing. You’ve never had
pizza and wings like this!
